Attractiveness of unavailable people is that you don’t have to deal with their reality.

You don’t have to stick around, when the relationship struggles.

You don’t even have to stick around for it to begin to struggle.

And – there is almost no rejection, only drifting away.

There is almost no rejection, because the external circumstances are often stronger and pull you away sooner.

Unavailable.  Not ours.  Set up for failure, so the failure is not ours to risk.
